Three cotton towels with a stripe woven from dyed yarn rather than printed on top, so the colour is part of the cloth and cannot wash away. A loop is sewn into one corner for the hook. They soak up a sink of dishes but stay thin enough to be dry again by morning.

Materials
One hundred per cent cotton with a yarn-dyed woven stripe, fifty by seventy centimetres, with a sewn hanging loop. Sold as a set of three.
Care
Machine wash hot, tumble dry. Wash before first use — new cotton pushes water around until the mill finish comes out, which is why a fresh towel seems to repel rather than absorb.
